- DiveĀ 1
- Divers: Simon and Elaine
- Max Depth: 17.3 metres
- Dive Time: 41 minutes
- Water temperature: degrees C
- Viz: 4-5 metres
- Dive details: We descended into a lot of kelp, swam around for a bit and then found a small bit of wreck, which led to some plating and eventually the rest of the wreck. There was one really big solitary sea urchin about the size of a small football which Elaine measured by comparing it to the size of her hand. I saw a seal but lost it when I tried to point it out to Elaine, so I just wrote what I saw on my slate, later we both saw the seal again.
- Divers: Nigel and Julie
- Max Depth: 13.8 metres
- Dive Time: 34 minutes
- Water temperature: degrees C
- Viz: 2-7 metres
- Dive details:
We did a stride in entry off the boat, then descended (without a shot line) to hover just above the seabed, as 13 metres.
We then explored the wreck, which was spread over the seabed in parts. Nigel led the dive as he was most experienced.
We saw less fish this time, but they were bigger. We also saw big white crabs, cat sharks and something orange/yellow with whiskers. We also saw lots of anemones, including black spiny ones, and yellow puffy sponges.
Then two grey seals approached us. They were very curious and swam around us for a few minutes to see what we were doing! It was the highlight of the dive.
At the end of the dive, Nigel deployed his DSMB and we both ascended to 6m. We did a 1-minute deco stop, then surfaced. We were picked up by our charter boat and got onto the boat by Lift.

This ship wreck was very broken up and spread over a large area.
We saw a large shoal of small fish ,several spider crabs. The highlight of the dive was 2 or 3 inquisitive grey seals joining us and circling around us.
