6 members of of Lowestoft Sub Aqua Club travelled to Stoney Cove in Leicestershire so that 2 of them could continue their Ocean Diver open water training. Setting off about 6am when it was only 3 degrees!

Paul had his own dry suit but Zak hired one from the shop. From the surface the visibility looked really good and the site wasn’t too busy either which was surprising as it was a bank holiday weekend.

We were staying at Park Foot Holiday Park situated on the top right corner of Ullswater Lake, near the village of Pooley Bridge. It is the second largest lake in the Lake District and is about 7 miles long, 0.75 miles wide and over 60 metres deep.
