4 divers took the opportunity to do a night dive in Playa Chica bay, also known as Pila de la Barrilla. It takes its name from the custom of locals washing their clothes with soap obtained from saltwort plant.
The beach and bay at Playa Chica are perfect for divers who swim out from here to enjoy the breathtaking underwater scenery including the Shrimp Cave, manta rays and sunken wrecks.

First night dive. Outstanding! Cuttlefish, Octopus, scorpionfish, arrowhead crab, seahares, shrimps, spider crabs, nudibranchs. easy bimble along the shoreline and back. MC

Night dive, entered at jetty headed west along rocks saw cuttle fish, arrow crabs and sea hares, turned at end of lava flow and headed back over sand for a bit, saw octopus at end of dive on beach. JC
