- Dive Details: The weather was cloudy with sunny intervals. After a buddy check on the shore, Steph and me followed Hayden who lead the dive. Entering 2 hours after high water. We finned out past the groynes + a bit more and descended on to the chalk reef. Heading out North slightly west as the current could be felt.Hayden was busy with his camera. There were several small crabs, a few lobsters, and squat lobsters. Also the rocks were covered in orange encrusting sponges, plum rose anenomes and daliah anenomes. Eventually we came to a couple of gullies where several large crabs were stacked on top of each other in holes. One hole had a very large lobster in it. At 100bar we headed south to return to the shore. On the way we saw a butter fish, corking wrasse and shoals of small fry.
