3 LSAC members keen to get the North Norfolk diving season started headed to shore dive the SS Rosalie in the hope of some good vis.

4 members visited Gildenburgh to complete some Ocean Diver training. The weather was a little cool and a bit windy but there was only one other person there and he was swimming on the surface for a little while so they had the dive site to themselves for most of the day.

We had another boat dive booked for today at 10:05 so we arrived at the pier at 8:30 thinking there would be plenty of car parking spaces. There were three left and we took two of them, a few minutes later someone took the last spot. We had to meet up at the boat at 9:35 so we had just under an hour to get our kit set up and trolley it along the pier.

Elaine had to leave early and drive back home so that just left 3 of us for the afternoon dive. We filled our cylinders at the dive shop on the pier (Divers Down) said goodbye to Elaine and kitted up ready for the second dive of the day.

4 LSAC members drove down to Dorset on a very rainy Friday afternoon and camped at Quarr Camping Swanage. Fortunately the rain had stopped by the time they arrived so they could set up camp and cook tea.

James was doing some repairs on Lowestoft Diver on Saturday and heard from some local divers that the vis was 2m! After a quick check of the tides and weather, a plan soon came together and we arranged to dive the midday HW on Sunday and take the boat for a pleasure trip after.
