- Dive 1
- Divers: Simon, Julie, Mark, Claire
- Max Depth: 17 metres
- Dive Time: 32 minutes
- Water temperature: 9 degrees C
- Viz: 3-4 metres
- Dive details: This was a warm sunny day, even though the water at 17m was only 9°c. We did a stride in entry off of the higher platform for the first time. Claire was a little nervous about this height, but we all managed it with no problem. Julie and Mark did Sports Diver training, including compass navigation and DSMB deployment. Both Julie and Mark led a dive , which went to the bus, then to the coach, then the reciprocal journey. Julie’s drysuit buoyancy control was much improved.
