In search of good weather and clear seas, LSAC member Ken went snorkelling during a 2-week cruise of the Caribbean. The plan was to do some diving but Covid restrictions prevented this.

For the next 11 days our names were always on the blackboard for the 8:30 and 10:30 boat dives. There was another daily trip at 2:15 and occasional night boat dives but we only did our boat dives in the morning. The Buddy Dive Centre had several boats but we always dived from the Harbour Lady. Every day we had to be at quayside by 8:15 with our kit ready to be loaded onto the boat.

A group of 5, including 4 LSAC members, went to the small Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire for a 2 week diving holiday organised by Alan Lyall. The average sea temperature was 28 degrees C and the vis was mainly over 30 metres.
