21st July 2020 – Rosalie, Weybourne
- Divers: Hayden, Dominic,
- Max Depth: 8.3
- Dive Time: 49
- Water temperature: degrees C
- Viz: 2-3 metres
- Dive Details: Arrived Early and entered the water 1.5hr after Low water but the tide was slightly running, we descended before the bit of the wreckage poking out of the water and landed just before the bow #NailedIt, at the bow I tried to get a picture of Dom doing the traditional titanic pose but he didn’t quite grasp what I wanted. sticking his arms out whilst facing Port which was particularly amusing. With the tide still running we sheltered behind the starboard side of the vessel, we swam along looking in all the nooks and crannies until just after the spare propeller we found a Lobster completely tangled in fishing line, it was quite small and I spent the next 10 minutes cutting the line from around its mouth parts legs and tail with only a few attempts to nip us when I pulled the line around its mouth parts in response to pain, almost as if it realised what we doing. After being cut free, I let it go and it slowly wondered back to his hidey hole. Afterwards we swam aft to the boiler where we found a large school of bib, a european eel (Anguilla anguilla) out in the open and even came across the odd Cod. The wreck was full of life and despite the recent weather the visibility was good at 2-3m. Towards the end of the dive when air was getting low we navigated back to the bow and Dom practised his DSMB.
